Athrun Zala Merchandise: Look Up Figure, Z’Gok & Acrylic Stand

日本語で読む

For Athrun Zala merchandise, choose a Look Up figure for a ready-to-display character, the HG Z’Gok for an assembly project, or an Onamae Pitanko acrylic stand for a smaller illustration-based display. These three SEED FREEDOM-related picks offer different ways to enjoy the character rather than three nearly identical figures.

This is a researched shopping guide, not a hands-on review. Product specifications and Amazon Japan order availability were checked on 20 October 2026. Prices, sellers and stock change; check the linked listing before ordering, especially if you need international delivery.

Three Athrun merchandise picks at a glance

Start with how you want to use the item: look at the character, spend time building his mobile suit, or fit a small illustration on a shelf. That decision is more useful than choosing only by the largest discount or rarest listing.

1. Look Up Athrun Zala: a finished desk figure

MegaHouse’s Look Up range uses a seated pose and an upward gaze. The manufacturer’s page describes an approximately 110 mm painted figure with a movable neck. It is a straightforward candidate if you want Athrun himself in a desk display without a model-building project.

The appeal is the character and pose, not a claim that this small figure is a highly articulated action figure. A modest change in head angle can make a fixed display more engaging, while the seated shape differs from a tall standing figure with a wide action pose.

Check the package: the linked ASIN is Athrun on his own. Kira/Athrun or Cagalli/Athrun sets and retailer extras are separate offers. During our check, there was no featured offer, but new copies could be ordered through the seller list. A missing main buy box alone does not prove that the product is sold out.

2. HG Z’Gok (SEED FREEDOM Ver.): build Athrun’s movie mobile suit

The film’s Z’Gok offers a different connection to Athrun. His official character page lists this machine alongside the Infinite Justice Gundam Type II.

Choose BANDAI SPIRITS’ HG 1/144 Z’Gok (SEED FREEDOM Ver.). Char’s Z’Gok, the mass-production machine and a clear-colour edition are different products. Several red Z’Goks can appear in the same search; the series and version printed in the product name matter.

This is an assembly kit. The manufacturer’s page explains the reproduction features and optional use of parts from a separately sold Infinite Justice Gundam Type II. Do not assume a complete second Gundam kit is included inside the Z’Gok box. Check exactly which parts and additional products are required before planning that display.

Amazon Japan displayed “400+ bought in the past month” in the checked search result on 20 October 2026. This is a dated platform indicator, not a forecast or a permanent bestseller claim. Compare current prices with the manufacturer’s information and possible restocks; a scarce listing is not automatically good value.

3. Onamae Pitanko Acrylic Stand B: a compact character display

The Onamae Pitanko Acrylic Stand B: Athrun Zala from Xebec pairs a character illustration with his name. It offers a flat display format rather than the three-dimensional volume of the Look Up figure or Gunpla.

The listing specifies approximately W102 × H155 × D3 mm. The 3 mm measurement refers to the acrylic thickness; it does not mean the displayed base needs only 3 mm of shelf depth. Allow room for the base as well as the visible character panel.

Check the exact format. The mini acrylic stand, acrylic keychain and badge products in the same range are not the item linked here. This listing specifies B: Athrun Zala rather than asking you to buy a blind assortment. Check the chosen character, quantity and included base before paying.

What to check before buying Athrun merchandise

Match the series and costume

Athrun’s clothing and affiliations vary between SEED, DESTINY and FREEDOM. For a coherent display, inspect the costume as well as the character name. The three products here are selected around SEED FREEDOM.

Separate a full product from a bonus-only listing

A low-looking offer can be a retailer extra without the figure itself. Check whether the item is new or used, whether the box has damage, and whether a stand, accessory or interchangeable part is missing. The current seller can also differ from the one you saw on an earlier visit.

Include tools and display space in the decision

The HG kit requires assembly. If you are new to Gunpla, consult the beginner tool guide before choosing. A display base is another possible cost, but compatibility and the model’s weight should be checked individually rather than assumed from the HG label alone.

Which one would we start with?

Look Up Athrun is our first candidate for someone who wants a finished character figure. Choose the HG Z’Gok if building the movie machine is part of the enjoyment. Choose the acrylic stand if a character illustration and a narrower display are the priority. The right purchase is the one that fits the way you intend to enjoy it.

Frequently asked questions

Is Look Up Athrun a model kit?

No. It is a painted character figure; the HG Z’Gok is the assembly kit in this guide.

Can I substitute Char’s Z’Gok?

Not if you want the SEED FREEDOM machine. They are different mobile suits and products.

Is the acrylic stand a random character?

The selected listing specifies B: Athrun Zala. Do not confuse it with the mini or blind-assortment products.
