The regular opening for Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX is Kenshi Yonezu’s “Plazma.” Its ending theme is Hoshimachi Suisei’s “Mō Dō Natte mo Ii ya” (もうどうなってもいいや). Other memorable songs belong to the official insert-song listing, which should be kept separate from the regular OP and ED.
This guide connects the titles, artists, officially listed episodes, authorized videos and a clearly identified CD edition. The later table names songs used near the end of the series, but does not retell the ending. No complete lyrics are reproduced.
GQuuuuuuX opening and ending at a glance
| Role | Song | Artist |
|---|---|---|
| Theme song / regular OP | Plazma | Kenshi Yonezu |
| Ending theme | Mō Dō Natte mo Ii ya | Hoshimachi Suisei |
The spelling is Plazma, not “Plasma.” Suisei also performs “Yoru ni Saku,” but that is a different song listed for episode 3. Identifying an artist is not enough to establish which theme a reader is looking for.
“Plazma”: Kenshi Yonezu and the official opening video
Yonezu wrote “Plazma” as the project’s theme song. If the music brought you to the anime, the official creditless opening is a useful starting point: it shows the pairing of the song with the television opening imagery.
A television edit, an artist’s music video and a live performance are not interchangeable versions. Choose the TV opening to revisit its specific length and visual sequence, or a full authorized recording to hear the complete track. The embed below comes from Gundam Channel.

The ending: Hoshimachi Suisei’s “Mō Dō Natte mo Ii ya”
The official ending page identifies “もうどうなってもいいや.” Romanization varies, so the Japanese title can help when searching a music service. It is distinct from Suisei’s insert song “夜に咲く.”
Watching the regular OP and ED together also shows how two musical perspectives can frame the same series. Interpretations of the mood remain interpretations; a title alone does not settle a character’s exact state of mind. The following is the authorized creditless ending, rather than a fan-uploaded full-song compilation.

Insert songs and episodes: follow the official classification
The table follows the titles and episodes displayed on the official insert-song page. It is not our independent count of every musical appearance in every cut. Skip it if you wish to avoid learning which older songs appear near the finale. Japanese titles are retained to make official releases easier to locate.

Episode 11 and the finale: special uses versus the regular ED
TM NETWORK’s “BEYOND THE TIME” is also famous from Char’s Counterattack. The GQuuuuuuX site places its episode 11 use under insert songs. Hearing an unexpected track near an episode’s end should not erase the separate identity of the regular ending theme.
“Beginning” and “Far Beyond the Stars” likewise appear in the official episode 12 listing. A song’s role in an earlier Gundam production and its use in this series are separate facts. Keep the specific production and episode in view when looking for an ending sequence.
The -Beginning- theatrical presentation and the TV series
The theatrical preview titled -Beginning- and the television series do not have identical structures. A memory of hearing a song at the cinema is not a complete catalogue of the TV series’ theme sequences. The official site’s separate theme-song, ending and insert-song pages provide a clearer route to individual releases.
The same distinction helps when buying music. An opening-theme single does not automatically contain the ED or the entire soundtrack. The official music pages link to authorized distribution services for the individual tracks.
Which CD is in this purchase card?
We selected Plazma / BOW AND ARROW, standard CD edition SECL-3205. It contains both named songs and an anime-opening version of each. This is not the Haro edition, a CD-plus-DVD package, or the differently ordered BOW AND ARROW / Plazma version.
“BOW AND ARROW” is the opening for Medalist, not a Gundam theme. This single does not include Suisei’s ED or all the insert tracks. Do not buy it expecting a complete GQuuuuuuX song collection.
Amazon Japan was accepting orders at our check. Recheck the seller, condition and shipping before purchase. We do not promise first-press extras or old concert-application serials whose availability and deadlines may have passed. The card is recommended for its recorded music, not an unverified bonus.
