Suletta Mercury says “Yamena-sai” near the end of The Witch from Mercury episode12, “Keep Marching On Instead of Running Off.” She is trying to protect Miorine at Plant Quetta.
The words themselves mean something as ordinary as “Stop.” Their impact comes from what Suletta does, and from how differently she and Miorine experience the result. The scene is more than a shocking isolated clip: it reveals a serious gap between two people who care about each other.

「やめなさい!」
Suletta Mercury, The Witch from Mercury episode12
Transcriptions vary in how they mark the pause inside her delivery. “Yamena-sai” here is a reading aid, not a distinct Japanese expression. This episode closes the first season’s run; it is not the finale of the complete series.
The official synopsis establishes the attack on Plant Quetta, the separation of Suletta and Miorine, and Suletta’s decision to move forward to save her.
What happens at Plant Quetta?
Miorine and the injured Delling face an immediate threat. Suletta intervenes with Aerial and kills the armed attacker to protect them. Her wish to save Miorine is part of the situation, but so is the irreversible result of using a mobile suit’s power against a human being.
Being rescued and being horrified by the method are not mutually exclusive. A person can experience both at once. Reducing the event to either “she saved them” or “she killed someone” loses the conflict that makes the exchange so difficult.
Why does Miorine react with fear?
Suletta’s behaviour immediately afterward matters. She reaches out to Miorine as if continuing the rescue. Miorine remains fixed on the death she has just witnessed. The two are sharing a physical space while inhabiting very different emotional moments.
Our reading is that Miorine’s fear marks the discovery of a gap she had not fully understood. Expecting gratitude to override everything would skip over the rescued person’s shock. It would also make Suletta’s caring intention answer a different question: how she understands taking a life.
That does not establish a complete diagnosis of Suletta’s mind. One scene cannot settle every question about her feelings. The important distinction is between wanting to protect someone and understanding the full consequences of the action taken in their name.

Prospera and the promise of moving forward
Suletta’s earlier exchange with Prospera provides another part of the episode’s context. Her mother’s words help her act through fear. A trusted person can give someone courage, while also becoming the external authority on which their judgement depends.
That tension changes how the familiar idea of gaining more by moving forward can sound. Moving is not automatically the same as choosing well: the purpose and the means still need judgement. The episode gives the reassuring words a troubling new setting.
Our separate guide to Suletta’s “gain two” saying explores the earlier context. Reading the scenes together is more useful than treating either sentence as a complete moral rule.
A related model: HG Gundam Aerial Rebuild
For the suit associated with episode12, check the word Rebuild in the product title. The original Aerial and Calibarn are different kits. Our selection is BANDAI SPIRITS’ HG 1/144 assembly model, rather than a completed figure.
It is related mobile-suit merchandise, not an item printed with the quotation. The manufacturer’s product page confirms the product identity. Compare the included equipment, condition and total delivery cost before buying; the photograph’s retailer and Amazon may offer different terms.

Frequently asked questions
Is Suletta telling Miorine to stop?
No. In this moment she is stopping the threat to Miorine, rather than scolding her.
Is episode12 the end of the whole story?
No. Season2 continues the series. The reaction here should not be treated as the final word on the relationship.
Is “Stop!” the official English dub line?
We use it only as a short explanatory translation. It is not attributed to a particular official dub or subtitle release, and the single English word cannot reproduce the whole contrast between delivery and action.
