Hello, I’m G-fun-Y, the writer behind Gundam-World. I have been a Gundam fan for over 30 years. I began watching the series as it aired from the era of Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam, and have enjoyed its anime, films, novels, manga, Gunpla, games and Carddass cards.
Why I started this blog
Gundam has been part of many stages of my life. As a child I loved its exciting battles and striking mobile suits. Returning to the stories as an adult has opened up other ways to appreciate their characters, politics and richly imagined worlds.
I opened this site in April 2022 to share that enjoyment across generations. That year brought the opening of Gundam Park and the life-size RX-93ff ν Gundam in Fukuoka, alongside new Gundam films and television. My visit to Fukuoka became one of the blog’s early stories.
